I purchased the frame and forks a good few years ago at a cycle jumble looking rather sad for itself and without any components. The chrome had flaked and was rusting and the paintwork was rough and didn’t look original (no decals) but the head badge was still attached. Once I’d established the year of manufacture and its intended type of use, I started sourcing appropriate parts and decided to bring the frame down from the rafters in the garage where it had spent some time before deciding that ‘lock down’ would be an appropriate time to finally bring the project back to life. I’m now enjoying riding it around some of our ‘not so steep’ roads as it was built more for flatter and rolling territory and is more geared for that.
