(Peter Wagg).

I removed the transfers and lining then restored the original paintwork very carefully preserving the patina. I then had the lugs and box work replaced including new transfers by Joebys airbrush art who did a wonderful job.

The wheels are period Campag large flange hubs rebuilt by Ryan’s wheels with s/s d/b spokes on Period Fiamma rims. I fitted racing tubs but as glue tape is not allowed at Herne Hill I left them unglued till needed though I have the glue.

The chainset is Chater with 7″ cranks and a Bayliss Wiley bottom bracket.

Basically it is set up as I would have ridden at H/H in the mid 50’s. The bars are Maes and the saddle is the original in good restored condition.

All chrome was replated to a very high standard.

I have Jack’s original receipts
