Sold at Clevedon Salerooms, 15th March 2018, £420 + commission.
Polished copper plated frame, chrome ends, Chater-Lea bottom bracket (5/16″?)
Track ends, no mudguard eyes, but… drilled for brakes front and rear, pump pegs, possible cable stop on chain stay for hub gear, so not a pure track machine unless these were added later.
Post-war headbadge. The secondary frame number could possibly read 4363 or 4563, consistent with frame numbers from 1949 or 1951. Possibly this frame was re-finished by Carpenter around that time.
