I have not yet attached a front brake, nor have I selected the bar tape (or perhaps grips).
This rattle can paint job, and my hand striping in gold of the lugwork, came out very nice if I say so myself. However, the paint is not durable. I will have to start over from scratch…but I will do that next summer. I have bought a used paint sprayer so that I can use a catalyst in the paint and therefore have a durable paint job.
The pedals are Campagnolo Grand Sport.
The crankset a brand new IRD (Campagnolo look alike).
The wheels are 700c, but not tubulars.
Hubs look nice, but they are some unbranded Japanese make.
Saddle a brand new brooks.
Front brake will be a Campagnolo circa 1970s, but I missing a barrel adjuster that I still have to source.
So not period correct, but period sympathetic.
