Jan 17 2021.         (Mark Atkinson) This was my parent’s Carpenter tandem  – frame number is 3860. The scanned document attached is from when my father had the frame renovated by Carpenters back in 1963  – my parents were living in Claygate at the time, so the Carpenter shop in Surbiton was nearby.

I’ve also attached a few more photos taken before it was sold, as well as the photo of the tandem taken in Wales when my parents were touring in the ‘60’s. In the early ‘80’s my father gave the tandem a mechanical renovation and it saw regular use for family cycling holidays, but sadly it hadn’t been used in many years.
